How to make a kids ‘fun jar’

Well, the world has changed and social distancing is our new normal, but for little kids? They may just feel stuck at home. So to break things up a bit, I’ve made a DIY ‘Fun Jar’ printable.

You simply stick one of the labels onto a jar or old tin (going through that Milo pretty fast now, am I right?!) and then cut up all the activity ideas, fold them, and pop them inside. Each arvo around the time the kids start up the old ‘I’m bored’ routine, they can pick an idea out of the jar.

You can tailor it to suit your kids ages – I’ve aimed for a mix below – or add your own activities depending on the craft/ space/ patience level you have happening at the time. We get it!

Hope this helps, even a little. We’re all in this together.
